should not be on? He
now has a muzzle

What can one trim do? Ask Midnight...one hind hoof
Meet Jen's new donkey Rosie- rescued from a kill
pen....  a "wry" story  to come so check back often!

Silver was rescued
from neglect last
spring. Left at
set-up trim and rt. 5
months later...he
has a way to
go...but a promising
healing angle.
Tevya left front from 4-07 to 6-08
Meet Tevya! I began trimming in May of '07 and was presented with the first
films. After a year his toes still appeared too long and I requested films to
gauge sole depth before shortening the heels and toe. The "double sole" is
visible on one but so is the remarkable decrease in rotation!

Dudley with "two club
feet" has much better
mobility with a proper
toe angle...
Above are before and 1 1/2

Willie rebalanced a lf  club
foot with a terrible toe
crack-also 1 1/2 years later

Rowdy Jean-two chronic foundered club feet
left- Denny last winter 07  to Nov. 08
She is a work in progress and the most
accident prone girl around...Denny's
hooves are improving slowly
left-Jenny when she was
first saved and one year
later...not bad
considering it took
Rachel six months to get
her trusting enough to let
me trim her! Only five
trims this year, but she is
coming along great!

first few trims...more to come summer 09
Poor Jean, IR,  PPID,  two club feet,  blind in one eye...but still top dog out in the pasture!
She was a rescue and one of the early premarin foals, but thanks to Helen and the PEGASUS
FOUNDATION she has had a home for life and will always hold a special place in my heart.
She is the hardest case I've come across thus far...some things just are and can only be the
best they can be-just for today...new photos will be posted summer 09....Thanks for looking!
This left hoof still has a bad toe crack
from the rotation. Click the link below
